This myth arose from a person who asked me once the best way to find job listings for a national chain that was opening a store in our town.  My response of "go to the store and ask for an application" was met with indignation, and the person insisted that positions would be listed on the Internet.

So, the task is to test the myth that one can find a job by searching on the Internet.  The suggested steps are:

1) Define a job you would like. (Specify the field, type of work, and location or area)

2) Visit some online job sites and search for jobs that match the one you define.

3) Draw your conclusion... the myth is true, plausible, or false... and support your conclusion.

4) Create a PowerPoint presentation to summarize your work and conclusion.
