Cyberbullying is the term used to describe the action of bullying using information technology. Examples include:
  • Sending harassing emails or instant messages
  • Posting harassing information on web sites and blogs
  • Sending harassing information while posing as someone else
Cyberbullying is tracable... save emails, save harassing pages and posts, keep transcripts of chats (both you and your kids need to learn how).

Signs of cyberbullying... victim:
  • stops using the computer suddenly
  • nervous when online, especially emailing and IM-ing
Signs of cyberbullying... bully:
  • secretive about online activities
  • laughs unusually when online
